Each slab is a single, uncut cross-section of an old Javanese teak tree — usually one that stood in a village courtyard for a hundred years before it had to come down.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe dry each slab for 12 to 18 months, flatten it on our wide-belt sander, fill any checks with black epoxy, and finish it in hand-rubbed hardwax oil. The live edges stay exactly as the tree grew them.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCurrent stock: approximately 96\" long x 36–42\" wide x 2.25\" thick. Base sold separately.
